Terms of use
This is a plain-language pre-launch draft covering use of the Nurtalo website and product. A full agreement will be issued with any commercial arrangement and will take precedence.
Status of the service
Nurtalo is in active development ahead of launch. Functionality described on this website reflects the product as it is being built. Anything described as planned is not a commitment to a date, and settings should evaluate Nurtalo on what it does today.
Use of this website
These public pages are provided for information. You may read and share them. You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the authenticated product, probe or disrupt the service, or misrepresent Nurtalo's capabilities to others.
Accounts and access
Accounts in Nurtalo are created by a setting or its organisation. Staff access follows membership of an organisation and a setting; family access is created deliberately by the setting and linked to a child's record. Account holders are responsible for keeping their credentials secure and for the actions taken under their account.
Responsibilities of the setting
A setting using Nurtalo remains responsible for the accuracy of the records it creates, for who it grants access to, for meeting its own statutory and regulatory duties, and for the decisions it takes. Nurtalo provides the system of record; it does not make safeguarding, ratio, employment or financial decisions on a setting's behalf.
Acceptable use
Nurtalo must not be used to store information unrelated to the lawful operation of the setting, to share children's records outside the permissions the setting has set, or in any way that would breach applicable law.
Your data
Records created in Nurtalo belong to the setting. Full data export is a base capability and is not conditional on a pricing tier. Safety and compliance capabilities are never withheld behind a paid plan.
Availability and support
We aim for a dependable service, but no software is continuously available. Any service levels, support arrangements and remedies applicable to your setting will be set out in your written agreement rather than on this page.
Intellectual property
The Nurtalo name, brand, interface and software remain the property of their owner. Nothing on this website transfers any right to reproduce or reuse them.
Changes
This draft will be revised as the service matures. Where a signed agreement exists, that agreement takes precedence over this page.
